WHY IS WEDGE GRINDING NECESSARY ? 

Grinding the surfaces of a wedge ensures parallelism, straightness, and a precise surface, allowing the wedge to be driven into a gap-free wedge slot

A wedge that is fitted without play into a properly prepared wedge seat—with parallelism and straightness ensured—is not affected by high forces and will not come loose for any reason. A wedge that does not come loose in its seat will not cause impact on the components. In this case, the cylinder wedge seat, the pitch circle on gears, bearings, bearing housings, and the shaft wedge seat are also not affected by impact. Consequently, the service life of the components is extended. A long-lasting, trouble-free product ensures customer satisfaction.
